Kennedy turned five today!!! Wow, how time flies!!! We are so thankful and blessed to call her our daughter. She is growing up and maturing more and more each day. She is all girl, who loves princesses, butterflies, dress-up, coloring, painting, dancing, and theatre. She loves the arts and it will be neat to see how this love mainfest in her someday. I was not blessed with any of these talents, so I'm loving seeing may daughter flourish in these areas!!! This year, she requested a butterfly, girl only party at our house!! I was pleasantly suprised, seeing how I knew it would make for a smaller party, but at the same time sad all her boy friends would miss out on her special day. I'm sure they would not have enjoyed painting butterflies and flowers, pinning the spot on the ladybug, and facepaint:) She even told me her Daddy would have to take her brother somewhere for the party. I talked her into letting those two boys stay, but Caleb napped through the crafting and facepaint part, which was perfect. He woke up in time for cake, presents, and the pinata. As I reflect on the past five years, the thing I'm most thankful for is how Kennedy becomming our daughter made me understand God's love for us more. I could not imagine anyone loving someone more than I loved her at that moment five years ago, but HE does!!!! How awesome and unfathomly is that!!!! God loves her more than I love her and HE loves each of us that much!!! What a mighty, gracious, and merciful God we serve!!! Happy Birthday Kennedy Grace!!!
