A Wedding & Two Birthday Parties

The Kids and I had a busy weekend with a wedding and two Birthday parties!! My little cousin Zachary married his high school sweetheart Krystal. I can't believe he is old enough to be getting married, I used to carry him around as my babydoll when we were little, I was eight when he was born!!! I'm getting really old! Anyway, it was a sweet and simple ceremony and they are two great kids, well I guess young adults. She starts her student teaching this fall and he is doing his internship in the youth ministry program at McAruthur Assembly of God. I'm really proud of them both!! After the wedding on Thursday, we had two B-day parties Saturday, Kendall and cousin Abie, below are pics. from each.

Fun at the Rivermarket

We took the kids down to the rivermarket this morning and had a blast. If you haven't taken your kiddos to the new riverfront park, it is a must do!! It is an awesome park with rock climbing, tunnels, a huge slide and a water feature to play in. Kennedy loved it, so did Mommy and Daddy! The rock climbing is a little scary for a Mommy of a toddler, but she navigated it like a pro. We also got some breakfast, walked the pedestrian bridge, and took a trolley ride. It was a great morning!!

Kennedy's Dance Recital

Kennedy had her dance recital Saturday night. It was the funniest and cutest thing I have yet witnessed as a parent!! Her class danced to a song called playmates, I think it is from Strawberry Shortcake, anyway it was adorable. The class ranged from ages 22 months to 4 years old. This is a great age to perform, ha,ha!! Kennedy came out and looked a little shocked at first but then really got into it. Every so often the stage props would distract her, but she would come back to dancing after checking them out. :) At the end when the audience started to clap she stopped, smiled big, and took it all in, she loved the applause!! It made the twice a week practices all worth while!! It made me want to sign her up for an entire year, but after much discussion we decided to wait until next year when she is old enough to reason with about getting ready for practice. We had a couple of tantrums getting ready for practice each week, so we will do the dance camp next summer again and go from there!! Overall, it was a great experience for her and I'm so glad we did it!! Kennedy looking a little nervous before the show!!

Waiting on the big performance.

Caleb's 2 Month Stats

Caleb turned two months old on Wednesday.

Weight 11.9 lbs. 45%

Height 22 inches 30%

He seems huge to us compared to Kennedy, she was always in the 0-10% range for everthing. It is nice not having to worry so much about a little baby!!
